Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Arica Airport is small and with limited facilities, so you won't find many things to do while waiting for your flight.
Where to rest: The terminal does not have many comfortable places to rest, so it is best to have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to lie on the floor. The closest accommodations, on the other hand, are located in the center of the city. Make a reservation with one of them in advance and try to arrange your transfer before you arrive.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities on the premises.
Eating and drinking: Shops are closed at night. Have a drink and a snack ready beforehand.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
