Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, opened on March 29, 2001, to replace Ellinikon Airport for the 2004 Olympic Games, is the largest in Greece and one of the busiest in Europe. Information desks are located in the Arrivals and Departures areas of the Main Terminal and on the boarding level of the Satellite Terminal. Tourist Office on the Arrivals level, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Tel +30 210 353 0390 / 0989).
The airport is located in Spata, 33 km (20 miles) southeast of the city of Athens.

Short Term Parking (1 & 2) - For short stays, on the Arrivals level, 1-2 minutes from the main building. Charging stations for electric vehicles and free spaces for motorbikes in car park 1.
Long Term Parking - Long-term parking area located off the airport access road. You can reach the terminal by walking across a pedestrian bridge or boarding a free shuttle bus.
Economy Parking - More remote and cheaper sectors, available by online booking only. Access to terminals via free shuttle services.
Valet Parking - Reception located on the boarding level, entrance 4. Car wash services are also available.
The facilities include lifts, adapted telephones and toilets, Braille signage, accessible counters, reserved parking spaces and electric vehicles for transferring people. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted by airline staff. Inform your airline of your needs at least 48 hours in advance.
