The airport is located in the city of Avoca, 16 km (10 miles) northeast from Wilkes-Barre and 10 km (6 miles) to the southwest of Scranton.

Taxi - Outside the baggage reclaim area, on the first floor of the terminal, there are vehicles from Burgit's City Taxi (Tel +1 570 970 9090), Call a Car Taxi (Tel +1 570 565 9184) and McCarthy Flowered Cabs (Tel +1 570 344 5000). Travel time to Wilkes-Barre is 25 minutes and to Scranton is 15-20 min.
