Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Barranquilla Airport has a relatively small terminal, but it is open 24 hours a day and has enough services to make your stay bearable.
Where to rest: As there is little space inside the main building, you will probably have to lie on the floor, so it is advisable to have blankets or a sleeping bag for comfort. Another option (by paying or using a credit card that provides the service) is to enter one of the VIP lounges. One of the latter is even open 24 hours a day. As for accommodations, the closest ones are located within the city of Barranquilla.
Baggage: The site does not have luggage storage facilities.
Eating and drinking: Shops are closed at night, but there are vending machines on both levels.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
