Spending the night at the airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is ideally suited for passengers with connecting flights or early morning departures who need to spend part of the night inside the terminal. In addition to being open 24 hours a day, it offers a number of comfortable seats for rest, as well as quiet places to sit. Wearing a mask is recommended, as the lights are very bright. The airport can also be very noisy, so earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones are recommended.

Where to rest: You'll find plenty of benches without armrests throughout the enclosure, which you can move to make a makeshift bed. On the seventh floor, the observation deck provides a quiet area with comfortable chairs and a moderate level of air conditioning to keep out the cold. On floor B, near some commercial shops, there is comfortable seating. Also on the same level, the area near the entrance to the train station is quite quiet, as the service does not operate at night; it is suggested to have a blanket handy, as the place can be quite cold. Another comfortable option is the prayer room. The food court on the third floor, in the domestic area, is another place that tends to be quieter at night. On the other hand, the airport VIP lounges provide greater comfort and privacy, and some are open 24 hours a day. There are also two transit hotels and a capsule hotel, and one hotel directly connected to the terminal.

Baggage: 24-hour left-luggage service on the second and fourth floors.

Eating and drinking: A 24-hour food court is available in the ground transportation area, on the ground floor.

Restrooms: Showers are only available in the VIP lounges.

Wi-Fi: Access is free of charge for 2 hours.

Other services available around the clock: Currency exchange bureaux, ATMs, prayer room, children's play areas.
