Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Billund airport is open 24 hours a day, but most facilities close at night. Make sure to bring blankets or a sleeping bag, as the place can be pretty cold, and headphones or earplugs because of the noise.
Where to rest: In the public area are a few benches where you can lie down, while in the boarding hall, you will only find uncomfortable chairs. On the other hand, on the third floor, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities and privacy, although this is closed at night. 5 minutes away from the airport is situated a hotel for a longer rest.
Baggage: There is no left luggage service at the moment.
Eating and drinking: Eateries inside the terminal close at night.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the airport's VIP lounge.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
