El Dorado International Airport, opened on December 10, 1959, serves the city of Bogota and is the most important airport in the country. It concentrates the majority of domestic flights and operates with destinations throughout the Americas and the main locations of Europe. It is also the most important cargo airport in Latin America, with one of the largest runways in the world.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (domestic and international flights) and Terminal 2 (also called Puente Aéreo), which operates domestic flights through Clic Air and SATENA. Both terminals are open 24 hours a day. They are connected by a free satellite bus that departs every 20 minutes and operates between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Information desks on the second floor of Terminal 1, between gates 4 and 5, and next to the west side of Terminal 2 gate 3. There is also a tourist office in Terminal 1 that operates Monday to Saturday between 6:30 am and 9:30 pm and Sundays from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm (Tel +1 800 012 7400).
The airport is located 12 km (7.5 miles) west of the Bogotá International Center, between the towns of Fontibón and Engativá.

Parqueadero Centro - For short stays, this is the largest parking lot, located in the central area of Terminal 1, with direct access to the Arrivals and Departures areas. To access it, you must move along the left lane of the main access road to the terminal.
Parqueadero Norte - Located in the northeast area of the terminal, next to the International Arrivals area, gate 1, dedicated to long stays. Access is located under the Terminal 1 viaduct, to the right of 26th Street.
Parqueadero Sur - Ideal for stays of 1 month or more. It is located in the southwest area of the terminal, next to the Domestic Arrivals and Departures area, gate 1. You must take the vehicle lane on level 1, turn around behind the central parking lot and find the entrance on the right side of 26th Street.
Parqueadero Terminal 2 - In front of the terminal building, entering from the road parallel to 26th Street. It offers spaces for motorcycles.
Parqueadero Terminal de Carga - Located on 26th Street, next to the cargo administrative building, entering through the slow lane.
The enclosure has access ramps, elevators, reserved parking spaces, adapted self-service modules, multilingual signs, accessible restrooms and information screens. The ATMs are adapted for passengers in wheelchairs, have audible messages for the hearing impaired, and Braille controls. Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to contact their airline before arrival.
Anyone with a hidden disability can request a Sunflower ribbon at the service points. Wearing the ribbon will allow airport officials and airlines to identify individuals who need special assistance through airport processes.
