Ride-sharing
Ola and
Uber services pick up passengers outside the Arrivals areas. To request a ride, you must download the app on your mobile phone and select the airport as your departure point. Once your journey has been confirmed, follow the instructions to meet your driver.
Bus
BEST (Tel +91 1800 227 550) operates services across the city.
- 312: travels from Terminal 1 to Vile Parle East and Andheri East train stations, passing through Pratiksha, Guru Tegh Bahadur, Kapadia, Agarkar Chowk, Seepz
- 321: runs from Terminal 2 to Vile Parle East, Machhimar, Mahim, Garware Chowk, Barve Nagar
- 308: goes to Andheri East, Vidya Vihar, Bail Bazar, Sahar
You will also find buses to various destinations in the region, such as Thane and Kharghar, operated by Neeta Tours & Travels (Tel +91 888 842 4424), Zingbus (Tel +91 828 700 9889), and Chalo.
Train
There are three different
Indian Railways (Tel 139) lines covering the city and its suburbs. The nearest station to Terminal 1 is Vile Parle East, while Andheri East is closest to Terminal 2. The journey to the city centre takes 30-45 minutes.

Metro
MMRC (Tel +91 1800 220 220 / 221) Line 3 stops at both terminals and connects the stations of Navy Nagar, in South Mumbai, and Aarey, in the north-central part of the city. It operates from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. Intermediate stations include Andheri, Santacruz, Bandra, Shitladevi Temple, Dadar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai Central, Girgaon, Churchgate.
Taxi
Vehicles are available outside the Arrivals areas.
Meru Cabs (Tel +91 897 048 9704) and
Cool Cabs (Tel +91 992 094 431) have counters at the terminals for pre-paid journeys. The trip to central Mumbai takes over an hour, depending on traffic.
There are also Auto Rickshaws, three-wheeled vehicles offering cheaper transport to the suburbs, from Borivili to Bandra in the west and up to Sion in the central suburbs.
