Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Porto Seguro airport remains open at night, so it can be a safe place to wait for your flight departure if you don't want to travel into town and check into a hotel. Note, however, that it does not have sleeping facilities.
Where to rest: The terminal is small and you may have to lie down on the floor, as the chairs are not very comfortable. This is why it is recommended to have a sleeping bag or blankets for a better rest. However, being so close to the city center, the best option is to book your stay in a Porto Seguro accommodation and coordinate your transfer in advance. Inside the terminal, there is also a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night.
Baggage: There are no places to leave your bags.
Eating and drinking: Shops are closed at night.
Wi-Fi: The service is free of charge.
