Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
As the terminal is open 24 hours a day, you can spend the night inside Bariloche airport. Be aware, however, that this will not be the most comfortable option. Here are some tips to help you prepare.
Where to rest: You will only be able to sleep on the first floor, but the benches have armrests for the most part. In the boarding area, there are some more comfortable couches, but they tend to fill up quickly, so it's advisable to arrive early. Be sure to bring a blanket or coat. There is also a VIP lounge inside the terminal with more comfortable seating, but it closes at night. The nearest hotels are located in the town of Dina Huapi and in the outskirts of Bariloche.
Baggage: At the moment, there are no luggage storage facilities.
Eating and drinking: Shops close around midnight. Therefore, it is best to have some snacks and drinks prepared beforehand.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
