Transportation
Bus
From 4:00 am to 11:00 pm, line 200E travels between the site and Kobánya-Kispest metro station via Ferihegy railway station. Between 11:00 pm and 4:00 am, the service goes to Határ út station, from where lines 914, 914A, 950 and 950A depart to the centre of Budapest.
Route 100E is a 24-hour service to Kálvin tér, Astoria and Deák Ferenc tér. It runs every 6-10 min. during the day, every 10-15 min. in the morning and afternoon, and every 20-40 min. in the evening.
Bus stops are on the Arrivals level, between the two terminals. Tickets can be purchased at BKK service points (Tel +36 1325 5255) located throughout the airport, information desks, post office, newsagents and vending machines at bus stops.
MiniBUD (Tel +36 1550 0000) provides 24-hour door-to-door transfers from the airport, with fares starting at €6.00. The company has counters in both terminals.
Metro
From Kobánya-Kispest station you can board the M3 line, direction Újpest Központ, to reach the city centre. It runs every 5-10 minutes from 4:26 am to 11:26 pm. Intermediate stops include Határ út, Népliget, Semmelweis Klinikák, Kálvin tér, Ferenciek tere, Deák Ferenc tér, Lehel tér, Dózsa György út, Forgách utca, Ujpest-Városkapu. To get to the station, take bus 200E from/to the airport.
Train
The nearest station is Ferihegy, from where
MÁV trains (Tel +36 1349 4949) depart to Nyugati terminal, in the city centre, with a journey time of about 25 minutes.
Car-sharing
MOL Limo and
SHARE NOW vehicles are located in the Holiday Parking.
Taxi
Fötaxi vehicles (Tel +36 1222 2222) are available. The company has counters next to the exit of the two terminals and the taxi ranks are right in front of them. The journey to the city centre costs around €28.00 and takes 25 minutes.
