Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Cagliari airport is open 24 hours a day. However, you will need to provide proof that you have a flight the following morning in order to spend the night on the premises. In general, it is important to remember that the airport is not designed for overnight stays, so you may have to be creative and find a comfortable place to rest.
Where to rest: Most seats inside the terminal have armrests, except for a few in the Arrivals area. The place is usually quite cold, so it is advisable to bring a sleeping bag or blankets. On the other hand, there are several hotels in the vicinity.
Baggage: There is no left-luggage service inside the airport, so you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, first aid clinic.
