Caracas airport (CCS)

Maiquetí­a Simón Bolí­var International Airport, opened on January 1, 1945, is Venezuela's main air terminal. Thanks to the expansions and renovations carried out in recent years, it has become one of the safest, most comfortable and modern airports in Latin America. It receives flights from all over the Americas and some parts of Europe.

Number of Terminals - 2 - National Terminal and International Terminal, open 24 hours a day and connected by a pedestrian walkway. They are also connected by a free shuttle bus service.

There are information desks in the Arrivals and transit areas of the International Terminal, and in the National Terminal it is located in the Arrivals Hall. Tourist information booths are also available in the public and immigration areas (Tel +58 212 355 1326).

 Location

The airport is located in the Maiquetía sector, in the municipality of Vargas, 26 km (16 miles) north of Caracas.

There are two parking lots in front of the National Terminal and an additional one in front of the International Terminal. All three are permanently guarded by security personnel. More information

National Terminal
Short-stay parking - In front of the terminal, level 2. The payment booth is located in the external public area, level 2.
Long-term parking - In front of the terminal, level 3.

International Terminal
Public parking - In front of the Arrivals area. Pay booths in the east wing, level 3.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
