Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Casablanca airport is very crowded and can be difficult to navigate, especially because of the lack of proper signage. Have earplugs and a sleeping mask handy.
Where to rest: The Departures area is the best option, as the seats are more comfortable. Another ideal place is the check-in area of Terminal 2, and next to gate C16 there are armrest-free benches. Transit passengers from Royal Air Maroc having a layover of more than 8 hours get a free hotel room. Inside the terminals, on the other hand, there are VIP lounges, a few of which are open 24 hours a day. The closest hotels are located in the city centre.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside this airport.
Eating and drinking: Available options are closed at night. In addition, the airport's commercial stores have pretty high prices.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free for 30 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange bureaus.
