Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport and opened in May, 1924, is the most important on the island of Sicily and one of the busiest in Italy. It operates domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa.

There are reserved parking spaces, adapted toilets and a team of qualified staff to assist with all necessary procedures. There are also special paths for the visually impaired and vehicles with lifts for boarding and disembarking from the aircraft. Notify your airline of your needs before your flight. Children between 4 and 12 years old travelling alone will be accompanied to the aircraft and supervised during the flight. In the case of children between 4 months and 4 years of age, an extra flight attendant must be arranged.
