Düsseldorf Airport, opened on April 19, 1927, is one of the largest in the country. It operates flights to all major destinations in Europe, as well as to the Middle East, North Africa and the United States.

There are information desks on the Departures level, next to the airline desks, and the Arrivals level. The main desk is located in the centre of the Arrivals area, next to exit D. Available from 5:00 am to 0:15 am.

The airport is located 9 km (6 miles) north of the centre of Düsseldorf.

Several short and long term parking options are available on-site, open 24 hours a day. There are also electric vehicle charging stations and a petrol station. Valet parking is available on the boarding level. In front of the Departures level, there is a passenger drop-off area (Kiss & Fly) which is free of charge for 7 minutes. P11, P12 - Short stay areas directly in front of the terminals.
P1 - Parking located underneath the main building.
P2, P3, P7, P8 - Short-stay sectors located around the terminals, about 2 minutes away.
P4, P5 - Long-term car parks. The SkyTrain transports passengers to Terminal C every 3-7 min.
P23, P24 - Long-stay, low-cost, with shuttle bus service.
