The airport is located 13 km (8 miles) to the west of Edinburgh.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to inform their airline or travel agent of their needs at least 48 hours in advance. Within the site, there are designated spaces in all car parks, wheelchairs, lift-equipped vehicles to board the aircraft, ramps, lifts, accessible toilets and telephones, induction loops.
