Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Yerevan airport operates many flights within Europe, so it's usually very busy at night. It's important to note that only local currency is accepted on the premises. The place is safe, but as with any airport, it's always important to keep a watchful eye on your belongings and be aware of your surroundings.
Where to rest: While it is not common to see people sleeping inside the airport, there are plenty of comfortable seats to rest in. In the boarding area, the lights are less bright. There is also a VIP lounge with more amenities open 24 hours a day, but the maximum stay is 2 hours. If you don't feel comfortable spending the night at the airport, there are nearby hotels to consider. Some offer shuttle services, which can be convenient.
Baggage: There is a luggage storage service in the Arrivals Hall, so you can forget about your bags while you wait.
Eating and drinking: Food outlets in the terminal are generally open 24 hours a day.
Restrooms: Showers available only inside the VIP lounge.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: Banks, ATMs, currency exchange, pharmacy.
