St. George's airport (GND)

Maurice Bishop International Airport, opened on October 28, 1984, serves not only the parish of St. George's, but also the entire island of Grenada. It operates with flights to and from destinations in the Caribbean, the United States, Canada and Europe.

The airport is located in Point Salines, the southwesternmost point in the island, 8 km (5 miles) to the south of St. George's, the capital of Grenada.

There is an outdoor, public car park, which is situated opposite the terminal building, just a short walk from the Departures area. It has short- and long-term areas, as well as a passenger pick-up and drop-off zone.
