Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Staying overnight at an airport can be an uncomfortable experience, but sometimes it is necessary due to flight schedules, connections or unforeseen situations. In the case of Strigino airport, the terminal remains open overnight, and passengers with an early morning flight or a delayed flight can stay indoors. It is also advisable to dress comfortably and warmly, as temperatures can drop during the night. Be sure to take care of your belongings at all times. Keep your valuables with you and try not to leave your belongings unattended. If possible, use padlocks to secure your luggage.
Where to rest: There are not many amenities inside the terminal, so you will probably have to lie on the floor. Bring an inflatable pillow, a light blanket, a sleeping mask and earplugs. With a bigger budget, you can get into one of the VIP lounges, which are open 24 hours a day. Alternatively, you can find a hotel about 500 metres away.
Baggage: Luggage storage is available next to the baggage claim hall.
Eating and drinking: Coffee shops open around the clock are available both before and after the security checkpoint.
Wi-Fi: The service is free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursery room.
