Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Most passengers that spend the night inside Hannover airport have an early flight the next morning. It is recommended to have a mask, earplugs or headphones due to loud noises and bright lights.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable places, but you can find large benches in the main hall. Another option is to enter one of the VIP lounges, with more amenities and privacy. Keep in mind that the maximum stay is usually 3 hours. On the other hand, there are also hotels in the vicinity of the enclosure.
Baggage: The left-luggage service is available 24 hours a day, so you can store your baggage there until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Between terminals A and B there is an eatery that opens 24 hours a day.
Wi-Fi: It is free for 3 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, prayer rooms, baby changing facilities, children's playgrounds, casino.
