Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Westchester airport is small and does not have many amenities, and generally few passengers choose to spend the night inside the terminal. In addition, you will have to stay in the public area once the security controls close for the night. Earplugs may be necessary because of the noise caused by the planes.
Where to rest: The best place to rest is the observation deck, on the third floor, which has benches and is pretty quiet at night. Another option is to move to one of the hotels inside the city offering shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no lockers nor luggage storage, so you will have to keep your baggage with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Businesses close at night, so it is recommended to have refreshments ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services open around the clock: ATM, baby changing facilities.
