Number of Terminals - 5 - A, B, C (Lewis Cutrer), D (Mickey Leland) and E. Open 24 hours a day. There are two free train services connecting the terminals. The Skyway connects the area after the security checkpoint of each terminal, operates 24 hours a day and has a frequency of 2 minutes. On the other hand, the Subway train is subterranean and departs between 3:30 am and 0:30 am, connecting the public area of the terminals and the Marriott hotel every 3 min.

Information desks are located in the baggage claim hall of terminals A and C, in the connecting hallway between terminals D and E, and on the International Arrivals level of Terminal E. Open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. There are also interactive information kiosks and volunteers in red uniforms throughout the facility.
The airport is located 23 miles (37 km) north of Houston, adjacent to the city of Humble.
