Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Boryspil airport is open 24 hours a day, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning. The security staff could ask you for proof of flight, so have your tickets handy.
Where to rest: You can find many seats and benches with no armrests where you can lay down throughout the terminals. The area next to gates D12-D13, in particular, is quiet and reserved. Another option (by paying or through a credit card that provides the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges, where you can access more amenities and privacy and that open 24 hours a day. For a better rest, you can check into one of the hotels situated in the vicinity.
Baggage: You can leave your bags at the luggage storage of Terminal D, which operates around the clock.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night.
Restrooms: Showers available only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free for 30 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, children's play area, baby changing facilities.
