Kraków John Paul II International Airport, opened in 1964, is the second busiest in the country. In addition to domestic flights, it operates international destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the United States.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The blue path is a system of signage and aid points that make it easier for disabled passengers to travel through the airport. Notify your airline of your particular needs at the time of booking. Shuttle services are equipped to accommodate wheelchair users. There are also designated parking spaces, access ramps, adapted telephones and toilets, accessible counters, special waiting areas and elevators. Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 4 and 12 will be escorted by airline staff through the check-in process, security and customs checks, and when boarding and alighting from the aircraft.
