Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Krakow airport is open 24 hours a day. However, it is not usually crowded at night, so your stay will be quiet.
Where to rest: Throughout the terminal, you can find some benches without armrests. Also, next to check-in desks 1-8, there is a rest area with armchairs and power sockets. Otherwise, if you have a sleeping bag, there is an open area next to the shops on the first level where you can lie down on the floor. There is also a VIP lounge for passengers with a bigger budget, but be aware that it closes at night. There is also a hotel opposite the terminal.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage offices, so you'll need to stay with your bags until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: Food outlets close at night. Have snacks ready beforehand.
Restrooms: Showers are available in the VIP lounge and in the parent/child room, by Gate 1.
Wi-Fi: Free for 15 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, baby changing facilities, children's entertainment areas.
