Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Luanda airport is overcrowded and has limited facilities.
Where to rest: There are generally very few seats inside the terminal and it is not advisable to spend the night inside the enclosure. There are VIP lounges with more amenities and privacy, but they close at night. The best option is to check into one of the nearby hotels, which in some cases operate shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside this airport.
Eating and drinking: The few available options inside the terminal close at night, so have some snacks ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: Access is free.
