Which Metro line has a connection to the airport?
The Linha Vermelha operates every 5 minutes from 6:30 am to 1:05 am and travels to Saldanha and São Sebastião, in the city centre, in 20 min., at a cost of €1.45. It allows access to other lines to different parts of the city, and is a way to visit the metro stations, each with a different theme and décor. A 7 Colinas / Viva Viagem card must be purchased and credit charged to travel. Intermediate stops include Encarnação, Moscavide, Oriente, Cabo Ruivo, Olivais, Chelas, Bela Vista, Olaias and Alameda. What is the nearest train station to the airport?
Just 10 minutes from the airport is Gare do Oriente, the city's main station, from where CP trains (Tel +351 707 210 220) depart to various parts of the country, such as Azambuja, Carregado, Alverca, Sacavém, Santa Apolónia, Rossio, Alcântara, Benfica, Amadora, Mira Sintra, Rio de Mouro, Algueirão, Portela.

How much does a taxi cost?
Vehicles available 24 hours a day outside the terminals. Travel time to the centre of Lisbon is 25-45 minutes and has a fare of €10.00-15.00 (depending on traffic).
Where to wait for an Uber at Portela airport?
Just outside the terminal building, there is a bus stop and then a covered mini-parking area. Cross the street and wait for your driver in that covered part of the car park. Estimated fare to the city centre: €8.00-11.00.
