Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Lagos airport has limited facilities, so if you have a flight early in the morning and have to spend the night inside the enclosure, it is best to have a plan B.
Where to rest: The domestic terminal is quieter at night, but there are no comfortable seats inside the airport and the place is pretty hot. There are several VIP lounges inside both terminals with different services, some of them open 24 hours a day. For a better rest, a few hotels are available close to the airport grounds.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices, so you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Options available inside the terminals are closed at night.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free access for 20 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: Baby changing facilities.
