Liepaja International Airport, opened on June 15, 1937, is one of Latvia's three international air terminals. It was closed on September 20, 2014, due to reconstruction works and re-opened on May 25, 2016, being recertified for commercial flights on September 30 of the same year. It currently has no scheduled flights.
