Manchester Airport, opened on June 25, 1938, is one of the busiest in the United Kingdom. It operates domestic flights and international destinations throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, North America and the Middle East.

The airport is located 17 km (10 miles) to the south of Manchester.

Multi Storey - Covered and open-air spaces in multi-level car parks adjacent to the terminals, ideal for short stays.
Long Stay - Two long-stay areas with free 24-hour shuttle bus service every 10 minutes.
JetParks - Available by pre-booking only, ideal for 1-2 week stays. Connected to the terminals by courtesy shuttle buses every 10 minutes. At JetParks Plus, you can cancel your booking up to 6 hours before your flight.
Mid Stay - For medium stays, 3-10 min. from Terminals 1 and 3.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airline or travel agent of their needs at the time of booking or at least 48 hours in advance. Reserved parking spaces are available in all car parks, adapted telephones and toilets, induction loops, people movers, ramps and lifts. Transport systems inside and outside the airport are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
