Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Manaus airport is small and a bit basic, but has a few things to keep you entertained while you wait. Bring comfortable clothes and a blanket or travel pillow.
Where to rest: Seats inside the terminals are scarce, so it is advisable to have a sleeping bag or blankets and lie down on the floor. In the boarding area of Terminal 1, on the other hand, there is a VIP lounge if you have a bigger budget, but keep in mind that the maximum stay is 3 hours. Some hotels in the surrounding area offer a shuttle service if you book in advance. The closest options are in the Tarumí neighborhood, while the cheapest accommodations are located in the city center.
Baggage: There is no luggage storage service at this airport at this time.
Eating and drinking: Several options open 24 hours a day, especially in Terminal 1.
Wi-Fi: Access is free of charge.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange, shops, pharmacy.
