The service known as "colectivo" is often preferred by solo or couple travelers, as it is more economical and also safer, being an authorized taxi with a fixed fare. These are white taxis shared among several people to reduce costs. It represents the regular taxi fare (about USD23.00) but is divided among all passengers (up to 4 people). In the case of traveling with family, both the colectivo and the regular taxi have the same fare, and in that case, either option is valid.

The companies Combuses and Transportes Chachafruto provide public bus service (called 'busetas') from the airport to Medellin and vice versa. It is the most economical option, although less comfortable and secure. The cost of a single ticket is approximately USD3.60 and can be purchased directly from the driver.

Medellin Airport operates 24 hours a day. You can call Tel +57 604 402 5110 for any inquiries.

The terminal offers a good variety of gastronomic options and shopping stores, as well as gardens for outdoor enjoyment. There are also VIP lounges to make your wait more comfortable. If your wait is very long, you can consider resting in one of the private cabins on the second floor or at a nearby hotel. Keep in mind that although the airport is open 24 hours a day, most services are closed at night, as they only operate during flight hours.

Yes, you have free and unlimited Wi-Fi access within the terminal. Connect to the network 'AeropuertoRionegro-JMC'.

Currently, the airport does not have lockers or luggage storage service. Keep this in mind in case of a long wait.

If your luggage or personal belongings were lost during the flight, you must file a claim at the respective airline counter. If you lost something inside the terminal, send all the details to the email [email protected] or complete the following form.

You will find ATMs from various banks and currency exchange agencies open 24 hours a day (Cambios Inter 1A, Euroservicios, Globo Cambio, Sudivisa).

Farmacia Pasteur in the main hall of the second floor, Farmacia Pura in the International Arrivals Hall and the Departures Halls.
