Public transportation services, licensed taxis and rideshare, private transfer companies and car rental services in Mexico City international airport (MEX)
If what you are looking for is the greatest comfort and tranquility to move to or from Benito Juárez International Airport, you can opt for a private transfer service.
The best option is to book online and in advance your transfer to or from the airport so that a driver will be waiting for you and you don't have to negotiate prices with cabs or transfer companies. You can book 4-passenger vehicles, minibuses with capacity for up to 8 passengers and 46-seater buses.
Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. At the airport, the driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it as soon as you leave the baggage claim area and enter the public Arrivals area. If you are in a hotel or apartment, the driver will wait for you outside the building. If they have the possibility to park their vehicle, they may sometimes wait for you at the reception desk.
Metrobús line 4 (Tel +52 55 5578 2140) connects the airport with the Buenavista Terminal and the San Lazaro metro station, as well as other points of interest, such as the City Museum, Paseo de la Reforma and Bellas Artes. At the San Lazaro stop, you can transfer to metro line 1 and get off at the Pino Suarez station, historic center (Zócalo). The stops are at Gate 7 of Terminal 1 and Gate 2 of Terminal 2. It operates from Monday to Saturday between 4:30 am and 0:00 am and Sundays and holidays from 5:00 am to 0:00 am. Payment is made by means of a smart card that must be purchased inside the terminals.
