Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Monastir airport mainly operates with short flights and seasonal destinations, so it is usually quiet at night.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable spots where to lay down, so it is recommended to have blankets or a sleeping bag in case you have to lie down on the floor. Another option is to enter the airport's VIP lounge, which provides more amenities and privacy and is open around the clock. If you decide to check into a hotel, there are several in the surroundings.
Baggage: The terminal does not offer left luggage services. This means you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night.
