Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Malmö airport is small and open 24 hours a day. Although it is relatively quiet, it is best to have headphones or earplugs in case it is noisy. Airports usually have security measures in place, but it's always important to keep your belongings safe and be aware of your surroundings.
Where to rest: You can find some comfortable couches without armrests in the central hall, but it is advisable to have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to sleep on the floor. There is also a hotel next to the site.
Baggage: There are lockers in the public area where you can leave your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night, except for some vending machines.
Wi-Fi: Free for 3 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, children's playground.
