Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Although small, Mazatlán airport is open 24 hours a day, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable spots inside the terminal, so you should bring a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to lie on the floor. Another option is to enter the VIP lounge in the boarding area, where you will be able to enjoy more amenities and privacy. Keep in mind, however, that it closes at night. Inside the terminal, on the other hand, there are counters where to make reservations with some of the hotels in the city.
Baggage: The enclosure does not have luggage storage offices. This means you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
