Facilities for passengers with special needs
Nice Airport is committed to ensuring accessibility and assistance for passengers with reduced mobility and other travellers requiring special attention.
Assistance
The airport has comprehensive infrastructure to facilitate the movement of passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility, including:
- Access ramps, lifts, and mobile walkways.
- Adapted toilets and accessible assistance telephones.
- Reserved and signposted parking spaces.
- Buses connecting the terminals equipped for wheelchair transport.
Note: It is mandatory to inform the airline or travel agency of your specific needs (wheelchair, help moving through the terminal, etc.) at least 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure time. This ensures the coordination of the assistance service from arrival at the airport to boarding.
Unaccompanied Minors
Children travelling alone are managed under the "Unaccompanied Minor" service, subject to the airline’s policies and age requirements.
The service is provided by the airline staff and includes personalised assistance from check-in until meeting the authorised person at the final destination. The airline’s ground staff will take care of the child during the boarding and disembarkation processes.
It is recommended to contact the airline with which the child will travel directly to confirm the conditions, service fees, and required forms before arriving at the airport.
