La Tontouta International airport (NOU)

La Tontouta International Airport, opened on 4 February 1991, is the main international air terminal in New Caledonia. It operates international flights within Oceania, Southeast Asia and Paris.

 Location

The airport is situated in the commune of Païta, 37 km (23 miles) northwest of Nouméa, the capital of the French overseas territory of New Caledonia and the South Province.

Free Wifi is available in the entire passenger area. There are two vip lounges (one in the departures hall and other in the public area). There is a bank open on arrival and departure of all commercial flights. The public parking lot of the airport is free of charge for the first twenty minutes, however, your ticket has to be validated by the cashier.

Before picking up your car, you have to pay the fee, either at the pay machine in the public hall (payment in cash) or at the information booth (credit card)
