Overnight stay at the airport

Narita Airport offers modern and comfortable facilities. Although staying overnight is allowed, it is important to have your ticket at hand in case security staff request it. In any case, the airport is well-equipped to accommodate passengers in transit. The terminals can be cold at night, so make sure to bring a jacket or jumper to stay warm.

Where to rest: Airport staff will guide all overnight passengers to a carpeted area with comfortable benches in the north wing of the first floor of Terminal 1. Additionally, Terminal 3 has plenty of lounge chairs where you can lie down. Another option, which requires payment or the use of a credit card that provides access, is to use one of the VIP lounges, which offer greater comfort and privacy. The only drawback is that these lounges close at night. Private rooms are also available for hourly rental in Terminals 1 and 2 (available between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm), while a capsule hotel is located in car park P2, directly connected to Terminal 2.

Baggage: Both lockers and luggage storage offices are available in all three terminals.

Eating and drinking: The only options open overnight are on the second floor of Terminals 2 and 3.

Restrooms: Showers are available for a fee on the second floor of Terminals 1 and 2 (from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm) and in the VIP lounges.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, convenience stores.
