Overnight stay at the airport

Narita Airport has modern and comfortable facilities. Although overnight stays are allowed on the premises, it is important to have your ticket ready in case security personnel ask for it. In any case, the airport is well-equipped to handle transit passengers. The terminals can be cold at night, so be sure to bring a jacket or jumper to keep warm.

Where to rest: Airport staff will lead all overnight passengers inside the terminals to a carpeted area with comfortable benches in the north wing of the first floor of Terminal 1. Another option, which involves a fee or the use of a credit card that provides the service, is to use one of the VIP lounges, where you have access to greater comfort and privacy. The only drawback is that these lounges are closed at night. In terminals 1 and 2, there are also private rooms that can be rented by the hour (available between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm), while in the P2 car park there is a capsule hotel.

Baggage: Both lockers and baggage storage facilities are available in all three terminals.

Eating and drinking: The only options open during the night are on the second floor of terminals 2 and 3.

Restrooms: Showers available for a fee on the second floor of terminals 1 and 2 (from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm) and in the VIP lounges.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, convenience stores.
