Ride-sharing

Uber vehicles pick up passengers outside the Arrivals level. Download the app on your mobile phone, choose the airport as your departure point and wait for your ride to be confirmed. Then just follow the instructions on the app to meet your driver.

Bus

There are several services to Tokyo and the surrounding area. Travel time to the city centre can be up to 90 minutes. Destinations include Tokyo Station, Ginza, Shiba, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shinagawa, Toyosu, Kasai, Chofu, Haneda Airport, Tachikawa, Tama, TDR, Inage Kaigan, Kisarazu, Shisui, Matsudo, Yokohama, Totsuka, Hon-Atsugi, Nakayama, Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Yamanashi, Shizuoka, Fukushima, Sendai, Nagano, Osaka, Niigata. Tickets can be purchased at the Arrival Halls of terminals 1 and 2 and the first floor of Terminal 3.

Narita Airport Transport (Tel +81 476 352 321) travels to Minami-Sanrizuka, Hakubutsukan Iriguchi and Nambu Kogyo Danchi, while Narita Shuttle (Tel +81 505 805 383) goes to Osaki Station in 75 min.

Chiba Kotsu (Tel +81 476 220 783) goes to Tako, Kurimoto, Aeon Mall Narita, Shisui and Yokoshibahikari.

JR Bus Kanto services (Tel +81 479 763 760) connect the site with the Aeronautical Science Museum, Sanrizuka and Narita, Tokyo and Ginza stations.

The Airport Limousine Bus (Tel +81 336 657 220) provides connections to Haneda Airport, with a travel time of about 2 hours.

Train

There are stations on level B1 of terminals 1 and 2 from which various services depart.

Keisei Electric Railway (Tel +81 570 081 160) operates the Skyliner, a high-speed train that travels to Shin-Kamagaya, Aoto, Nippori (36 minutes) and Ueno (41 min.) Departures from 7:23 am to 11:00 pm.

The Access Express goes to Shin-Kamagaya, Aoto, Oshiage, Asakusa, Nihombashi, Higashi-ginza, Shimbashi and Shinagawa stations.

The Keisei Main Line makes intermediate stops at Narita and Funabashi on its route to central Tokyo, with additional stops at Takasago, Aoto, Nippori and Ueno.

East Japan Railway Company (Tel +81 502 016 1603) operates the Narita Express to central Tokyo every 30 minutes, with a journey time of 53 min. Other stops include Shinagawa, Yokohama, Totsuka, Ofuna, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Hachioji.

Taxi

Metered and fixed fares vehicles are available. You can find them at taxi rank 15 (Terminal 1), taxi ranks 30 and 31-A (Terminal 2) and in front of the pedestrian platform (Terminal 3). Transportation Tips to/from the airport

Although there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take them into account when moving to or from the airport, and especially if we go by public transport.
 
 1- To the airport - It is convenient to leave with a little more anticipation than what is commonly suggested. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always take into account peak traffic times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may delay the journey to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what is happening.
 
If you contract a shared transfer service, have a contact telephone number handy in case of any delay by the company. In these cases they usually already have a scheduled collection time.
 
If you use public transport (collective, train) take into account the schedules (weekends and holidays tend to have less frequency), if you have to change and also how to board (if you need a card or paying the driver or motorist at the moment ). These are details that seem obvious, but it is advisable to know so as not to have surprises and suffer a delay that could cause complications.
 
If you rent a car to get to the airport, check where to leave the vehicle. At some airports, there is an exclusive parking lot for rental cars.
 
 2 -From the airport- Here it is a little less stressful since you don't have the pressure of missing your flight. In the worst case, you will arrive later at the place where you are going to stay or at the meeting point where you are trying to arrive.
 
Once you leave the plane, look for your suitcase and finish with the arrival procedures that are required. Then, follow the directions for public transportation or ask the airport staff.
 
It is very useful to find out in advance the schedules of the buses or trains in case you arrive late at night. Not all work 24 hours. The same goes for taxis. In case of using an Uber-type service, have the mobile application handy to contact the driver.
 
On the other hand, if you booked a private transport service, it is likely that they will have a person waiting for you, identified with a sign. If you rent a car to go from the airport to your final destination, for greater peace of mind it is advisable to book it in advance. Rental counters are usually available in the arrivals hall.
