Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Nuremberg airport is quiet and safe. It is recommended to have a sleeping mask, earplugs or headphones ready, as lights can be bright and overhead announcements can be loud. Layover passengers will have to show a ticket for an onward flight.
Where to rest: The terminal has many benches with no armrests. In addition, in the observation deck, you will find padded benches. Another option is to use the VIP lounge, where you can access more amenities and privacy, though it closes at night. On the other hand, there is a hotel in front of the enclosure and more options inside the city.
Baggage: There are lockers in car park P1.
Eating and drinking: There are two options that remain open throughout the night.
Wi-Fi: Free for 24 hours.
Other services available 24 hours a day: ATMs, children's playgrounds, baby changing facilities, prayer room.
