Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Pittsburgh Airport is a safe and quiet place to spend the night while waiting for your flight to depart.
Where to rest: You'll find comfortable benches and couches next to the security checkpoint and in the southwest sector of Concourse A. In the rest of the enclosure, the seats have armrests, so it is advisable to bring a sleeping bag in case you have to lie down on the floor. In the boarding area, there are some VIP lounges with more comfort and privacy, but they are closed at night. On the other hand, there is a hotel that is directly connected to the Landside Terminal.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities.
Eating and drinking: There are no food outlets open at night, but you will find snack and beverage vending machines and a 24-hour convenience store on floor 1 of the Landside Terminal.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing room, children's play area, pet relief areas.
