Tahiti Faa'a international airport (PPT)

Tahiti Faa'a International Airport, opened on 5 March 1961, serves the island of Tahiti and is the only international airport in French Polynesia. It operates flights to various islands in the territory and some international destinations in Oceania, the United States, France and Japan.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Domestic Terminals 1 and 2 and International Terminal, open 24 hours a day and connected by pedestrian walkways.

The airport is situated in the commune of Faa'a, 5 km (3 miles) west of Papeete.

P0 Parking Fret - Dedicated to cargo transport, but also open to the general public, next to the terminals.
P1 Parking Express - For short stays, in front of the main buildings, with an additional 15 minutes.
P2 Parking Longue durée - Sector for long stays. The first 15 minutes are free of charge.

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to notify their airline or travel agent of their particular needs at the time of booking. Reserved parking spaces are available in all car parks.
