The airport is 9 miles (15 km) southeast of Rapid City, in Pennington County, South Dakota, United States.
A restaurante is available from 5:00 a.m. until the last flight of the day departs. A complete line of pastries along with breakfast sandwiches are offered in conjunction with popular salads and a variety of deli sandwich selections.
The Airport Gift Shop is located on the second level past the TSA security checkpoint. Stop by and pick up anything from keepsakes and souvenirs to in-flight necessities: snacks, newspapers, magazines, clothing and locally made gifts and crafts.

There are two parking lots P1 and P2 (this one closest to the terminal building). In both there are long and short term parking areas and the first 30 minutes are free of charge.

Elevators
You can access the pre-security elevator near the baggage claim area. The post-security elevator is located near Gate 1 accessible only with airline or airport personnel escort.
Paging for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
If you anticipate receiving a page or if you wish to leave a standard audible page, you can receive assistance by visiting the administration offices on the second floor of the terminal; or, if after normal business hours, the operations staff will assist you.

Visual pages are displayed (in bright green) on most of the display monitors in the terminal.
Defibrillators
Defibrillators are available in the terminal for use in cardiac emergencies. They are located in an area accessible by our 24-hour firefighters and EMTs. Dial 911 and our airport emergency staff will arrive within minutes.
Unisex Restrooms
All public restrooms can accommodate individuals with disabilities. There is one unisex/family restroom located in the concourse and in the baggage claim area.
Wheelchairs
Your airline can provide you with wheelchair assistance to or from your flight. Service should be requested from the airline in advance or at the ticket counter when you check in. Skycaps are also available daily for wheelchair assistance.

Disabled travelers who qualify for service under the Americans with Disabilities Act can call Rapid Transit System Dial-A-Ride at 605-394-6631. All trip requests must be scheduled at least one day in advance.

Pet Relief Areas
RAP has a designated pet relief area located outside the terminal, not far from the far east Departure doors. Travelers needing wheelchair assistance to the designated area will be accommodated by an airline representative or Skycap. There is no pet relief area in the secured area.
