Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Recife airport has a modern terminal with multiple facilities to make your stay more enjoyable.
Where to rest: Although the facilities are modern, the airport is small, so it is advisable to have a sleeping bag or blankets handy in case you have to sleep on the floor. On the other hand, if you have a credit card that provides such service, you can enter the VIP lounge of the terminal, where you will get more comfort and privacy. Note, however, that although it is open 24 hours a day, the maximum stay is 3 hours. In addition, you can rent a private cabin for a few hours on the second floor, and there is a hotel across the street from the airport.
Baggage: Luggage storage office on the ground floor.
Eating and drinking: The shops in the terminal are usually closed at night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, pharmacy.
