Spending the night at the airport
Rotterdam Airport is open 24 hours a day. However, passengers wishing to spend the night inside the terminal will need to stay in the public area once the security checkpoint closes. There are usually few people during the night, so your stay will be quiet, but be sure to bring a travel kit with you including toiletries, comfortable clothes and a pillow or sleeping bag for a comfortable night's sleep.
Where to rest: You can find some seats behind the elevator and some benches by the gate to the boarding area. There is also a VIP lounge with more amenities, but the maximum stay is 3 hours and it is closed at night. On the other hand, there are a few hotels near the terminal, and the staff at the information desk can assist you in making a reservation at one of them.
Baggage: Luggage storage inside the VIP lounge only.
Eating and drinking: Food outlets close at night, but there are some vending machines.
Wi-Fi: The service is free.
