San Francisco International Airport, opened on May 7, 1927, serves the entire San Francisco and Silicon Valley area and is one of the busiest airports in the country. It operates domestic and international flights around the globe.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminals 1, 2, 3 and International. Open 24 hours a day. You can move around the facilities by AirTrain, a train that runs 24 hours a day, every 4 minutes. The red line connects the terminals to each other, the terminal parking lots, the BART station and the Grand Hyatt hotel, while the blue line also goes to the long-term parking lot and the rental car center.

Annual passenger traffic: 50.2 million passengers went through it in 2023.

The airport is located in San Mateo County, 23 km (14 miles) south of the city of San Francisco.

Parking services at San Francisco airport (SFO)

Several areas are available for short and long stays, with charging stations for electric vehicles. Within 5 minutes of the terminals, at North McDonnell Road and San Bruno Avenue, there is a passenger pick-up area (Cell Phone Waiting Lot) that is free of charge for 60 minutes and available from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. Domestic Garage - 5-level short-stay facility located in the center of the airport, with tunnel access to all terminals. Exclusive spaces (ParkFAST) on level 4, opposite Terminal 1, by online reservation only.
International Garage A & G - Short-stay areas located north and south of the International Terminal, connected by pedestrian walkways. The other terminals can be accessed by AirTrain.
Long Term Garage - Covered and open-air spaces for long periods, connected to the terminals via the AirTrain from level 5.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

There are designated parking spaces, accessible transportation between terminals, special lanes at security checkpoints, ramps, adapted toilets and telephones, and relief areas for service animals. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should coordinate the appropriate services with their airline at the time of booking.
