Shanghai Hongqiao airport (SHA)

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, opened in May 1923, is one of the largest in China. It concentrates the city's domestic flights and operates only a few international destinations in Japan and South Korea.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (international flights) and Terminal 2 (domestic flights). Open from 4:00 am to 10:00 pm. A free shuttle service connects both terminals every 30 minutes between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

 Location

The airport is located adjacent to the town of Hongqiao, in the Changning and Minhang districts, 13 km (8 miles) west of central Shanghai.
