Salvador - Deputado Luí­s Eduardo Magalhíes International Airport, founded in 1925 and reopened on September 2, 2002, is the busiest in the state of Bahia and northeastern Brazil, and one of the most important in the country. It operates domestic and international flights to destinations in South America and Europe.
